I had a Swift Royale 590 2.5d non turbo and it really struggled on hills. Even on the flat it would only do 50/60mph.

May 5, 2009. #1. Hi. I have a 1997 4 ton motorhome powered by a Ducato 2.5 TD engine. It has had an intermittent problem since I bought it 5 years ago. Sometimes it runs fine, and sometimes it goes through periods where it loses power. My engine has a Bosch MAM in the airway after the air filter and I suspect there is a problem with this.
